Only two choices.

God gives you only 2 choices to reach him. Those 2 choices are a stone in the path of a river and the water itself. If you become stone, a hard one to shake, you will stay where you are, no matter how forcefully the water hits you. By this, not only you avoid yourself from reaching the ocean, but delay others from reaching. And sometimes if you are a very minute sand particle, you will be carried away to ocean gradually. But if you become water, no matter how hard the stone is, you will reach the ocean very soon.
To be a stone is to get hit several times. To be a water is to remain fluent, not effected by external stimuli, just flow through all hurdles and reach the ocean.
Sometimes even a hard stone breaks up if it is in the gorge and hit harder by water. But has to bear lot of pain with the purpose served.
Choice is yours. Never become a hurdle as not only you delay others, but delay yourself as well. Become like water, going swiftly through every hurdles without effecting yourself in life.

ReplyDelete1) First of all not sure why we need to reach god. It may be your interest, you can't generalize it. Even if anyone wants to reach god for instance, the options are not given by any god, it's the individual's decision.
Let's consider one's interest is to reach god and consider god gives two options as you have mentioned. Then why the damn one chooses to be a stone if one desires to reach god? :-)
Some problem with the requirements or the logic.
2) Only few rivers can reach the ocean, not all. Many rivers take diversions and get dried in between. Less to talk about stones.
Even water has to hit many objects on the way and run through many obstacles.
3) nobody can delay others progress. One can only a hurdle to oneself like the way one thinks wrongly and illogically.
Mostly whatever comes out of the mind, will come out of ego and foolishness. One should examine the thoughts and shouldn't become a prey of the foolishness.
