Overcome the "ILLUSION" !!! Happiness lies in contentment and not in longing for more. Happiness due to contentment lasts longer than Happiness achieved from the material world. Happiness disappears the moment material achieved from the outside world ends. We are under the illusion that the more we get from the outside world, the more we will be happy. Anything from the outside world, money, jewelry etc, is limited and so is the happiness from them as well. Even if we have a continuous supply of this material, we get bored of it one day. So, we have to turn for the other solution i.e., to be content.To be content is to give up the outside world. It doesn't mean that you have to stay away from this outside world. It literally means you must be unaffected by any sort of material you are under the influence. No variation in the thought process the moment you receive anything from outside. Only two choices. Friday, March 17th 2023, 12.30 AM God gives you only 2 choices to reach him. Those 2 choices are a stone in the path of a river and the water itself. If you become stone, a hard one to shake, you will stay where you are, no matter how forcefully the water hits you. By this, not only you avoid yourself from reaching the ocean, but delay others from reaching. And sometimes if you are a very minute sand particle, you will be carried away to ocean gradually. But if you become water, no matter how hard the stone is, you will reach the ocean very soon.  To be a stone is to get hit several times. To be a water is to remain fluent, not effected by external stimuli, just flow through all hurdles and reach the ocean. The 3 'S' Sunday March 12th 2023, 6 AM Moksha can be attained mainly because of 3 S, Surrenderness, Selflessness and Sleeplessness. A very interesting thing is either all 3 of them stay together otherwise none of them exist independently. In other words, all 3 of them define each other. Surrenderness stands for almost humility. You are the God, have all the power but you are not omnipotent. A total humbleness takes you to that extreme point where you are one with the God. Any worldly act which yields some fruit and when you ALWAYS offer this fruit to God, it is called Selflessness, in other words Surrenderness. A momentary thought of having the fruit for yourself says that your Ego is in play. And when ego comes into play, in vedantic terms we say you are not awake. You are still sleeping. It was Sunday evening November 27th 2022, myself and my friend decided to put Ayappa maala and visit Shabarimale. So the very next day I checked with my friend who is a priest in a nearby Ayappa temple and got into 42 days maala on November 30th 2022. So according to our plan, we have to visit Shabarimale on 11th January 2023 for Ayappa Darshan. Till that time we followed certain rules. Believe me, it's not an easy task. Every day early morning 5 AM getup, have bath in cold water, do pooja to Ayappa with 108 Sharanagosha and meditate. This time weather was very cold and water was freezing. Somehow we managed it. Only one meal a day and a light breakfast. No onion and garlic in the food. No outside food at all. No slippers, always on bare foot. Only to wear black traditional dress. No false talk or anger to be shown. Addressing people as Swamy. No watching any vulgar content on TV or mobile.
